Reference

People that are close to me and know me best, enough to be a reference to. Firstly, it would be my church's pastor, Pastor Thomas. He has seen me growing up since my early years and has lead me through my ups and downs. He has seen my true colours. Secondly, my sixth form economics teacher, Puan Loo. She was also the teacher in charge of my class. During my time in sixth form, we have gotten close. She once helped to write a reference for a university application for me. I am really thankful for her.  Last but not least, my high school teacher, Puan Leong. She knows me really well as I've worked with her during my five years in high school. She was my club's teacher adviser. And she has seen me since my early days as an active club member to being the president of the club.

Besides the two weeks that I worked in the law firm, I worked as a part-time barista in Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for two months. I really enjoyed this job more because of the different faces I meet everyday and the friendships that were forged with my  fellow colleagues. During my time there, I was entrusted in making drinks, serving and also being the cashier. I realized then that the reason why I didn't enjoy working in the law firm as much as I did being a barista was because I enjoy meeting people. Working in an office environment bore me.
